Happy 2017

First let me start by wishing all of you a fantastic new year.

After the archery craze of last year I hope this one will be even crazier. With four world Cups plus a final, three world championships, World Games and some European championships (indoor and field) I feel my wish for another crazy one is granted.
I cannot wait for things to come. Will the Koreans continue to dominate or will someone else step up? I don’t dare making any predictions this early but I hope we get treated to another great archery year.

I am also stoked to announce that DutchTarget and the Infinite Curve have joined forces. A little tell tale sign was the slightly changed logo on the header of the website.

I’ve always been a fan of John’s writing and some time last year in a dark pub we opted the possibilities of working together. After a few more chats we came to the conclusion of “why not”? So here we are, DutchTarget 2.0 if you will. More news, background stories and contributions from top shooters are to be expected. Tournament news and photos will of course stay the main content so plenty of excuses to visit our site regularly.
Do I sound excited? Yes. Am I excited? Heck yes!

I’ve been working with Dean on various international events for a couple of years now, and he’s been the same absolute gent that many of you have met over the years. It seemed a little odd to be working at cross purposes, as it were, so we’ve decided to meet in the middle and create something even bigger and better. You’ll see me blogging over here from now on, and I’ll continue to cover as many events as I can and the wider world of archery too.
I’m really looking forward to this new venture in such a big year for archery and looking forward to seeing where it leads. I hope you are too!

Happy 2017 and good shooting,
Team DutchTarget
